Concrete Sidewalks & Walkways
Create safe, attractive pathways that connect your property and enhance curb appeal.

Why Concrete Walkways Make Sense
Your walkway is one of the first things people see when they visit your home. A cracked, uneven path looks bad and creates a tripping hazard. Whether you need a new front walkway, a garden path, or a connection from your driveway to your backyard, concrete gives you a clean, durable surface that handles foot traffic and weather without breaking down.
In Azusa, we deal with hot sun, occasional rain, and plenty of foot traffic. Concrete walkways hold up better than flagstone that shifts, gravel that spreads everywhere, or mulch paths that turn muddy. Once your concrete is poured and cured, it is low maintenance and lasts for decades. You can sweep it, hose it down, and forget about it.
Our Walkway Services
At ACW Azusa Concrete Works, we build sidewalks and walkways that fit your property and your budget. Here is what we do:
- Front entry walkways: We create welcoming paths from the sidewalk or driveway to your front door.
- Garden and backyard paths: Connect different areas of your yard with curved or straight walkways that blend with your landscaping.
- ADA-compliant ramps and slopes: If you need accessibility features, we can install proper ramps with the right slope and texture.
- Decorative finishes: Choose from broom finish for traction, exposed aggregate for texture, or stamped patterns that look like stone or brick.
- Border and edging work: We can add decorative borders or integrate your walkway with existing landscaping.
We also handle walkway repairs and replacements. If your existing concrete is cracked, sunken, or unsafe, we can tear it out and pour a new one that is level and built to last.
How We Build Walkways That Last
A good walkway starts with proper site prep. We excavate the area, remove old concrete or debris, and create a solid base with compacted gravel. This prevents sinking and keeps the walkway level over time. Then we install forms to shape the path, pour the concrete, and finish it with the texture you want.
We also pay attention to drainage. A walkway that pools water becomes slippery and can damage your landscaping. We slope the concrete slightly so water runs off to the sides, not toward your house. And we add control joints every few feet to prevent random cracking.
What sets us apart is attention to detail. We do not rush the job. We take the time to get the base right, use the correct concrete mix, and finish it properly. That is how we deliver walkways that look great and last for years without needing repairs.
